TRYOUT ANNOUNCEMENT
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING TRYOUTS:
- On-line Registration form must be submitted prior to attending a tryout.
Go to the tryout registration tab (on Main Menu) and complete player/school/grade parent information. Registration begins on September 18, 2024.
Cannot attend without.
- No parents in gym during tryouts. Players are to be dropped off/picked up outside the tryout location.
DO NOT SEND A PLAYER IF ILL OR COVID SYMPTOMS ARE EVIDENT.

PLAYERS SHOULD ATTEND ALL SESSIONS
About CYP BASKETBALL…CYP has travel teams (tryouts above) as well as an instructional program for Boys K-2nd grade and Girls 1st-3rd grade.
Instructional program info will be posted on Website on October 10.
General information about the travel teams is as follows:
ELIGIBILITY: CYP program eligibility is as follows:
- 6th grade players and below - must be a resident of Pittsford or attend a school in Pittsford
- 7th grade players and above - must attend a Pittsford Central School or home schooled Pittsford resident.
COST: $400 per player (5th-8th grade); $375 (3rd-4th grade). GAMES: approximately 30 - 40 games.
LENGTH: Season consists of regular season games, numerous tournaments, and non-league games.
Season ends in mid-March.
PRACTICE: 2-3 practices per week. Players expected to make all practices in order to participate in games and tournaments.
NOTE: 9th Grade teams will form in December. Notification on website in November. $260 per player.
